Glorianne Leck will be leading a discussion on Fertilizers, Pills, and Magnetic Strips: The Fate of Public Education in America by Gene Glass.  The group will meet Monday Aug 9 and Monday Aug 23 at noon in the Harvest Room at Trinity Church. Bring your own lunch!  The book analyzes how a few key technological inventions changed culture in America and how public education has changed as a result.  All are welcome to discuss this relevant and topical book.  The book is available at the library, local book stores, through the publisher at www.infoagepub.com, and for cheap on Kindle.

Church events

Remember the wonderful tribute that Kristopher Robin Bowman wrote in chalk on our sidewalk?

This is the
house
that
Love
Built

…..a tribute to Trinity’s involvement in the Emergency Winter Shelter!

With Kristopher’s permission, blank note cards with envelopes have been made for purchase in support of the shelter.  These funds will buy snacks, new socks and other supplies.

You can purchase a package of these cards either in the church office or look for them on Sunday mornings.  Each package is $15.00 and contains 10 cards and envelopes.
