Visiting Trinity Episcopal Bloomington

The clergy and parishioners of Trinity Episcopal Church welcome all visitors and newcomers. Are you new to Trinity Parish, Indiana University, or Monroe County? Please let us know! When you visit, complete a "Voice from the Pew," or sign the guest registry in the narthex. We'd like to hear from you!

Some information you'll need during your visit:

  • Parking at Trinity Church: you are all invited to park in the Monroe Bank parking lot {Sundays and weekday evenings,} one block west of church; the entrance to the Monroe lot is on Fourth Street. There is a designated handicapped parking spot on the northwest corner of Kirkwood St. and Grant St., diagonally from our church.
  • Bulletins are available for your assistance. If you need help during the service, please ask a neighbor.
  • Places of welcome: the Trinity Room and the library are open to parishioners needing a place for informal conversation or reflection between Sunday services.
  • Restrooms are available through the doors at either side of the altar
  • The nursery is available for children from infancy through three years old. It is well-used and is staffed by trained caregivers.
  • During Communion, ushers will direct you to the altar. At Communion, we sing hymns with reverent gusto. Please join us. We now offer gluten-free wafers. Please speak with the clergy before service if you are interested. Persons desiring a priestly blessing should cross their hands on their chests.
  • Our Healing Station is available at the side of the altar.
  • Sitting, standing, and kneeling are usually matters of personal habit; you may also follow the crowd!
