The Interfaith Winter Shelter has had significantly larger numbers of guests this year. Consequently, the shelter could use donations of twin-size, warm (heavier weight), washable blankets (not throws). The blankets may be brought to the church office or given to Deacon Connie. For any questions please call Deacon Connie @ 336-4466 or 330-8052 |

Both the Presiding Bishop and Bishop Cate are recommending donations be made to Episcopal Relief and Development. The website is www.er-d.org.
According to the ERD website, they are providing relief directly to the Diocese of Haiti. The best method to use is to send funds directly to ERD via their website, or you may also drop off a donation at the office with the check made out to "Episcopal Relief and Development". Sending it directly to ERD ensures the least "downtime" for your donation. Incidentally, ERD historically gets very high rankings for effective and responsible use of funds, so you can be assured your donation is in good hands. |
