The clergy and parishioners of Trinity Episcopal Church welcome all visitors and newcomers. Are you new to Trinity Parish, Indiana University, or Monroe County? Please let us know! When you visit, complete a "Voice from the Pew," or sign the guest registry in the narthex. We'd like to hear from you! Some information you'll need during your visit: - Bulletins are available for your assistance. If you need help during the service, please ask a neighbor.
- Places of welcome: the Trinity Room and the library are open to parishioners needing a place for informal conversation or reflection between Sunday services.
- Restrooms are available through the doors at either side of the altar
- The nursery is available for children from infancy through three years old. It is well-used and is staffed by trained caregivers.
- During Communion, ushers will direct you to the altar. At Communion, we sing hymns with reverent gusto. Please join us. We now offer gluten-free wafers. Please speak with the clergy before service if you are interested. Persons desiring a priestly blessing should cross their hands on their chests.
- Our Healing Station is available at the side of the altar.
- Sitting, standing, and kneeling are usually matters of personal habit; you may also follow the crowd!

Trinity Episcopal is an accessible facility. A ramp is located near the front entrance on Kirkwood and a new construction project has included a recent elevator addition. The entrance on South Grant is at ground level. Trinity is also equipped with an Audio Induction Loop System to assist people who wears hearing aids. If you wear hearing aids, turn on the "loop" mode for digitals or "T coil" or "telephone" mode for analogs. (Your brand of hearing aid may use a different term for the modes.) If you still have touble hearing, or if the sound is to loud, adjust the volume control. If you would like assistance in hearing the service and do not wear hearing aids, ask an usher for an amplification unit with headphones. He or she will show you how to use it. Return the unit to an usher after the service. |

As our mission suggests, we are open to all and we welcome you, wherever you are on your spiritual journey. The Episcopal Church strives to live by the message of Christ, in which there are no outcasts and all are welcome. Walking a middle way between Roman Catholicism and Protestant traditions, we are a sacramental and worship-oriented church that promotes thoughtful debate about what God is calling us to do and be, as followers of Christ.
We include all ages, cradle Episcopalians and the recently confirmed, devoted and "don't get there very often." Visit us, see what's new, what's old, what's changed, and in the greater scheme of things, what hasn't. Here are some resources for newcomers: |

Trinity Episcopal is located in Bloomington, Indiana at 111 South Grant Street, on the corner of Kirkwood and Grant. We are located in the heart of Bloomington, one block from the campus of Indiana University and only a few blocks from the square.
Parking is limited, however there are a few lots in the vicinity: - one located behind the Monroe County bank, which can be entered from Fourth Street;
- one located just off of Dunn between Kirkwood and Fourth Street
